We kindly ask that a minimum of 48 hours’ notice (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays) be provided if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us offer the appointment to another client who may be waiting for support.

To assist you in managing your appointments, we use an automated SMS reminder system, with reminders sent two days in advance. While these reminders are provided as a courtesy, it remains your responsibility to keep track of your appointments and to ensure your contact details are up to date.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance at an appointment, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the session. If we are able to fill the appointment, no fee will apply.

This policy applies to all late cancellations, including those due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. Please note that cancellation requests submitted via email cannot be accepted within the 24-hour notice period.

Counselling can offer gentle, supportive space for anyone navigating emotional, psychological, or relationship challenges. People often reach out to Keri-Ann when they are:

  • Feeling persistently sad, low, or overwhelmed
  • Experiencing stress, anxiety, or panic attacks
  • Wanting to strengthen communication or improve relationships
  • Struggling with confidence, self-esteem, or assertiveness
  • Having thoughts of self-harm or suicide
  • Finding it difficult to balance work, study, and family life
  • Seeking support with important life decisions or transitions
  • Concerned about the wellbeing or mental health of a loved one

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling. Support can be helpful at any stage of your journey.

In your first session, Keri-Ann will take time to explain the counselling process, including privacy and confidentiality. You’ll be invited to share what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to work towards. This initial session is also an opportunity to gather some background information and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and right for you

You don’t need to bring anything special to your appointment — just yourself.

If you have a referral, please bring this to your appointment. Some people also like to bring notes, a journal, or anything they feel may help them remember what they’d like to talk about.

You’re very welcome to bring a fidget, comfort item, or anything that helps you feel relaxed and at ease during your session. For children, the practice has an abundance of toys and engaging items available for them to play with during their session, helping them feel comfortable and supported.
